Census 1850 Johnson Trumbull, OH: David & Didama STRAW living next door to Eli & Lydia DEWEY, the parents of Eli & Didama/Deldemina. Benjamin MARVIN [26], Mellissa [22], Anson [2] and Nathan [10/12] living next door. Eli DEWEY Jr. [26] & Hanna [19] and Betsey [8/12] also live next door. Benjamin Marvin gives his place of birth as Ohio.

per research of Donald Winnie on Rootsweb:
I don't know who Benjamin's parents were--per the 1880 census, he was born in Ohio but his parents came from Delaware. There were some Marvins in Delaware but can't find any of them who moved to Ohio in the 1820s.
Benjamin remarried after Betsey's death; I believe his second wife's name was Emma. They had several children before he died (haven't found his death date yet).
research of Virginia Winnie:
According to the 1850 census, they were still in Trumbull County;there were two sons, Anson B. and Nathan. In the 1860 census, there was another son--Albert. By 1870, Betsey was dead and Benjamin remarried to Emma Ann Farrah (sp?) and they had children by her. On the 1870 census, however, there was a daughter, Betsey Anne, who was 10--possibly Betsey's last child. Here are their birthdates, as far as I have the info:
Anson Benjamin Marvin born 1848
Nathan Marvin born 1850 [These are Betsey's]
Albert Marvin born 1852
Betsey Ann Marvin born 1860
