H. E. Thompson Sr. of Tewksbury dies.
"...died last evening at the Lowel General Hospital in his 71st yr. ...born in Lowell, s/o late Henry and Ellen (Straw) Thompson...made his home in this city until he completed his education....graduation MIT with degree BE in mechanical engineering..class of 1904...accepted a position with Amoskeag Mfg Co in Manchester, NH..connected...with that firm in an executive capacity for a quarter of a century....1929 moved to North Tewksbury...operated his own farm until after his retirement after end of WWII...32nd degree Mason...membership in both York and Scottish rite Bodies...member of the Shrine.
Survived by sons: E. Tracy Thompson of Dover, NH; Henry A. and Wm A. Thompson, both of Los Angeles, CA; Albert W. Thompson of Bath, ME; three granddaus: Ellen, Mary and Susan Elizabeth Thompson all of Bath, ME and grandson David Tracy Thompson of Lowell.

Herman married Mabel Anna Tracy, daughter of Eugene A. Tracy and Josephine A. Simonds, 21 Noc 1905 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. (Mabel Anna Tracy was born on 13 May 1882 in South Coventry, Connecticut, died on 29 Jul 1947 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and was buried in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Salem, Massachusetts.)
