CONNORS, Agnes (Trerise) Formerly of Brigus,C.B., died suddenly at her home on October 23, 1995, age 83 years.
Leaving to mourn her husband Aloysuis; daughter Donna Hynes (Don); grandson
Jimmy Hynes; special daughter *Madeline Curnew (Ernest); special grandchildren Sandy
Yetman (Peter), Ernie Curnew and Paula Curnew; nieces Nell Mackey, Mary Agnes Oates and Joan Hayes; nephew Ned Kelly.
Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 26th
at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Passed on: March 10th, 2011
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, March 10, 2011, age 78 years. Madeline was born in Brigus, Conception Bay, Newfoundland and grew up in Irishtown, Brigus, and St. John's where she resided with her second mother Agnes, Al and Donna Connors. On December 29, 1960, she married Ernest Curnew and together they built their home in Brigus Gullies where they raised their three children, Sandy, Ernest & Paula. Madeline's greatest pride was in her children, grandchildren and extended family. She was in her element when she was helping or serving whether in a professional or voluntary capacity. Madeline was widely known around Conception Bay as a warm and generous person, whose door was open and whose smile and kind words were always at the ready. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Sandy Yetman (Peter), Paula Murphy (Michael) and her son Ernest Curnew and her precious grandchildren, Cody, Billy, Matthew, Brittania, Zackary and Mia, also left are her sisters, Joan Hayes (Ed), Nell Mackey (John deceased) and Donna Hynes (Don), and a large number of extended family and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral home, Brigus, with visitation on Sunday & Monday from 2 -9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. from The Anglican Parish of The Resurrection, South River, cremation to follow, inurnment at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.

Connors was born on 7 Jul 1914 in Clattice Harbor, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, died on 20 Apr 2003 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada and was buried in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery - St. John's, Newfoundland.)
