per research of S. Phaneuf: Ezekiel Straw, born 23 June 1925 died Aug 1972 in NH. He was a teller in the Amoskeag Bank in Manchester [1953] but he doesn't show up on the 1930 census. (He is called Peter in 1930 census) Ezekiel is listed in the Manchester Directory as Ezekiel, Jr., which leads me to believe that the name Peter was written in error. (or a family name?)

(AP> 1972 - 'Ezekiel Straw of Manchester, board chairman and chief executive of the Manchester Bank, has died at a local hospital- after a long illness.He died Tuesday at the age of 47 The Manchester native began his banking career with the Amoskeag Savings Bank in 1948, a year after being graduated from Dartmouth College. He went to 'work for the Manchester Savings Bank in 1954and was elected its president in 1967, a post he- relinquished earlier, this year. *•Straw was. a director of several banking and development firms, a trustee of St. Anselm's College, New Hampshire chairman for Radio Free Europe and the', 1971 recipient of " the Brotherhood Award of the New Hampshire Chapter of the National Conference of Christiansand- Jews. He was also a director of the state Industrial Development Authority. Survivors include the widow, three sons, a daughter, his mother, a brother and four sisters.

A graduate of Dartmouth College, and worked at Merchants Savings Bank, this writer doesn't know if the bank was purchased or merged, but per a 1971 Manchester, NH City Directory Ezekiel was President and Chief Officer of The Manchester Bank, he is married to Margaret and had a son William who was a student.
It is unknown what happened to Margaret, Ezekiel was 47 when he died and she may have remarried.
This writer [ Pat Van Den Berghe] is convinced that the William in Chapel Lawn Lot of Ezekiel Straw Sr. is the son of Ezekiel, Jr.
