A private funeral and burial service for Franklyn Straw, 76, of Watertown, will be held at the convenience of the family with the O'Donnell Funeral Home of Waterbury in charge of arrangements.
Mr Straw died Saturday, March 23, at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Katherine (Cosgrove) Straw. Mr. Straw was born in Waterbury, May 29, 1914, a son of the late Frank and Marie (Mclntyre) Straw. He worked at Seth Thomas of Thomaston for 32 years, retiring as a manager in sales promotion and advertising.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Shaun Straw; a brother, Robert Straw; a sister, Noreen Straw; and two grandchildren.
