WATERBURY \emdash A private funeral for Robert E. Straw, 75, of Eastern Avenue, was held Saturday, December 4, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
Mr. Straw, husband of Grace P. (Goggin) Straw, died Wednesday, December 1, at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven. He was born June 10, 1918, in Waterbury, son of the late Frank A. and Nora Marie (Mclntyre) Straw. He lived in Waterbury all his life and attended schools in Waterbury. He worked for 39 years for the former Chase Brass & Copper Co. of Waterbury.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Robert E. Straw Jr. of Waterbury; a daughter, Margaret Mary Straw of Killingworth; and a sister, Norrine P. Straw of Waterbury.
