Rufus and Verna Anderson were both interred in a private cemetery just south of Lincoln Avenue, on the west side of Hwy 39 (Beach Blvd)
in what is now west Anaheim. This cemetery does not seem to exist any longer. His father, George, and wife are interred in Graceland Cemetery in Pomona, CA.
George was an ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church, had the church in Pomona until his retirement in the early 30's.

George married Nina May Straw, daughter of Orrel Hamilton Straw and Sarah E. Larkin, on 6 Feb 1881 in Smith Center, Smith County, Kansas. (Nina May Straw was born on 10 May 1862 in Belmont, OH and died on 20 May 1927 in Anaheim, Orange County, California.)
