C. Elizabeth "Betty" Straw, age 88 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton, Missouri.
Among survivors includes her children, Brian D. Adams of San Antonio, Texas, Luci Landes of Kansas City, Missouri, Gene Straw of Sikeston, Missouri, Richard Straw of Clinton, Missouri and Clara Wolf of Harrisonville, Missouri.

Elizabeth "Betty" Straw, age 88 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Clinton United Methodist Church with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Wednesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to United Methodist Women for Children's Missions and may be left at Vansant-Mills Chapel of Clinton. Betty was born in Millett, Texas, the daughter of William Varney and Gladys Pamela (Galbreath) Angell. She was married to Clarence Straw who preceded her in death in l975. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the F & F Group.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Graydon Phillips Angell and William Thompson Angell.
She is survived by her children, Brian D. Adams of San Antonio, Texas, Luci Landes of Kansas City, Missouri, Gene Straw of Sikeston, Missouri, Richard Straw of Clinton, Missouri and Clara Wolf of Harrisonville, Missouri as well as sixteen grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
