HARRY F. JOHNSON
Harry F. Johnson, 76, died Thursday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Dexter, May 1, 1883, the son of Charles and Flora (Jumper) Johnson. He was a member of Dexter Grange. He is survived by his widow Ruth F. Johnson; one son, Wendell E. Johnson of Dexter and five daughters: Mrs. Mary Ellis, Dexter; Mrs. Phyllis Miles, Northboro, Mass.; Mrs. Althea Rackliffe, Belfast; Mrs. Pauline Johnson, Dexter; Mrs. Jane Easley, Wethersfield, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Brown, Dexter and Mrs. Minnie Bryant, Dexter; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Harry married Ruth A. Fernald, daughter of Augustus J. Fernald and Abbie J. Straw, on 15 Jun 1918 in Dexter, Penobscot County, Maine. (Ruth A. Fernald was born on 25 Sep 1891 in Garland, Penobscot County, Maine and died on 8 Dec 1972 in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine.)
