Research of Lorraine Straw King:
He was born June 9, 1897 as they invert the day-month placement on these genealogy charts. Born 9-06-1897 in Nebraska City, NE, died 25-01-1972 in Auburn, NE. He was buried in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Peru, NE. He married Stella on 15-01-1922 in Nebraska City, NE. First wife was Stella Reeves whose father was listed as Jim Reeves; mother's name was Alice Pierce (maiden name, I assume). There is a notation by Stella's name that lists one son by former marriage, but nothing else mentioned. Her name at that marriage may have been Allgood . I am sure her maiden name would have been Reeves. Everett and Stella had an adopted son Charles Larry who married Pattricia Dean McDonald. He was born 28-02-1932 and married in 1964. (married in an unspecified Lutheran Church.) This is what Aunt M. wrote in the information column about Larry: "Everett and wife adopted Charles Larry Straw from Child Savings Institute in Omaha , NE where Margaret Straw (Aunt Marge) used to work. Miss Boothman placed the baby with Everett and Stella. " Then there is a second wife listed for Everett Straw named Rose Minig. Nothing is noted about her so Aunt M. would know about that, I assume. Also there is no notation as to the fate of Stella.

Everett next married Rose Minnig, daughter of Bernard Minnig and Nancy D. Tigert, after 1940 in Nebraska. (Rose Minnig was born on 15 Jun 1893 in Nebraska, died in Sep 1983 in Nemaha County, Nebraska and was buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Peru, Nemaha County, Nebraska.)
