Roger Dale Straw, age 86 of Nebraska City died May 28, 2019 at CHI St. Mary's Hospital in Nebraska City. Roger was born December 20, 1932 in Peru, the son of Harry and Hazel (DeHart) Straw. Roger lived in Nebraska City most of his life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nebraska City. He previously worked as a janitor at the Nebraska City Junior High School and had owned and operated Straw Sanitation until his retirement. Roger is survived by his son, Don Straw of Syracuse; daughter, Susan Ward of Nebraska City; step sons, Ronnie Straw of Shenandoah, IA and Lonnie Hutchinson of Lincoln; step daughter, Vicki Skinner of Shenandoah, IA; special friend, Linda Major of Nebraska City; brothers, Bob Straw and Henry Straw, both of Nebraska City; many other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; three wives, Charlotte, Minnie and Sharon; daughter, Mary Scott; son, Gene Straw and granddaughter, Stephanie.

Roger married Charlotte.

Roger next married Minnie Marie Osborn, daughter of Thurlo Harold Osborn and Stella Pearl Bennett, on 31 Jul 1953 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska. (Minnie Marie Osborn was born on 23 Feb 1936 in Brownville, Nemaha county, Nebraska, died on 10 Sep 2013 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska and was buried in Camp Creek Cemetery in Otoe County, Nebraska.)

Roger next married Sharon Kay Hill, daughter of Albert Lee Hill and May Berneice Klepper, on 28 Feb 1961 in Auburn, Nemaha County, Nebraska. (Sharon Kay Hill was born on 30 Oct 1942 in Auburn, Nemaha County, Nebraska, died on 24 Oct 1996 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska and was buried on 28 Oct 1996 in Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska.).
