Eugene A. Straw, 81, Plover, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, at The Assembly of God Church in Plainfield.
Visitation will be at the church from noon Friday, June 20, until the service.
Gasperic Funeral Home in Plainfield assisted the family.
Mr. Straw was born March 16, 1927, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Eugene S. and Edith (Morey) Straw Sr.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1947.
He was married to Alice Mosher on Oct. 5, 1969, in Illinois.
He was employed at Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee, retiring in May of 1989.
Survivors include his wife; and one brother, Elworth (Bev), Milwaukee.
