Obituary:
Lloyd P. "Pud" Straw , 83 of Nebraska city, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001.
He was born June 4, 1918 at Minatare, Neb, the son of Burton Leroy and Nellie Gay (Brust) Straw. He was employed in the construction industry building houses. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by daughter Judy Zech and husband Herb of Ravenna, Neb; three grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Margaret Straw of Nebraska City; and special friend Margaret Ruby of Avoca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Bernice(Esser) Straw (1998).
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, August 27, 2001 at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska city, with the Reverand Mark Tasler of St. Benedict's Catholic Church officiating.
