Oshkosh Daily Northwestern | Oshkosh, Wisconsin | Tuesday, September 15, 1964 Vernon J. Huber WILD ROSE - A farmer and filling station attendant who had been ill some time, Vernon J. Huber, 54, died Sunday morning at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah. He was a resident of Wild Rose. Mr. Huber was born in Wesley, Iowa, Aug. 11, 1910, and married the former Genevieve Straw May 29, 1931, at Stevens Point. Services will be at Wild Rose Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday with burial in Union Cemetery, Town of Wautorna. The Rev. Rollie Leeman will officiate. Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home. Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Fredette, Wild Rose, and Mrs. Vernita Wesp, Cula Vista, Calif.; three brothers, Louis, Titonka, Iowa, Roy, Princeton, and Irvin, Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Aurelia Walker, Princeton, Mrs. Minnie Sobralske, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Madeline Mclntee, Plainfield, and eight grandchildren.
