Salem - A local man was electrocuted Saturday while attempting to burn caterpillars out of a tree in his yard. Charles Straw about 48, Keizer, touched a high voltage line with a pole he was using to oust the insects. He was standing on a metal ladder and using a light 15-20 foot metal pole.
