In the 1870 Wilmington, Essex, NY census, a 19 yr. old Leona Warren is living with brother Lorenzo 14, father Walter Webster, 51, and mother Caroline Elizabeth Phillips, 46. Walter is a farmer.

Leonia Warren, age 31 in 1880 census for Black Brook, Clinton, NY is married to Armina, 30, with children Charles, 2 & Annie, 8. He is a teamster and they were all born in NY. This must be Ermina Ransom and she is apparently wife #1 as they have been married 9 years. Ermina's last child with Leonia was born in 1892, so I am "assuming" that she died sometime around 1893.

In the 1900 census for Wilmington, Essex, NY, Leona [b. Sep 1856], son Charles [Jul 1881] and (A)Delbert Leslie [May 1882] along with Amanda M are living with Albert R. Straw [July 1870], and Cordelia Straw. Albert, Cordelia & Amanda are siblings; Leone is listed as Albert's father-in-law [s/b bro in law] & Charles & Delbert as Albert's brothers-in-law. [ s/b nephews?]
Amanda and Leoni married 3 years and Amanda says she has 1 ch and 1 living. Aurelia probably also in HH and incorrectly left out with her DOB given for Amanda.

He's in Wilmington, Essex, New York in 1910; he is 58 years old and married to 39 year old Amanda and living with last daughter by Ermina, Kate, age 17. No other children. By this time, Albert Straw is married to Mary (Cobb) Fletcher, a widow, with a zillion children.

In the 1920 Wilmington, Essex, New York census, we have Leona [69], Jenny [64] and Claude[8], a boarder.

In 1930, he is in Wilmington, Essex, NY with Jane E, his 73 year old wife and a boarder, Claude Warren, age 19. Two doors down, there is a Frank Warren [50], his wife Mary E [49] and two children, John M [19] & Earl T [11]. (this would be Leoni's nephew, son of his brother Lorenzo) The 73 year old Jane must be Jenny Miller and is wife # 3.

Leonia married Ermina Ransom about 1872. (Ermina Ransom was born about 1850.)

Leonia next married Amanda Straw, daughter of Lyman Turner Straw and Almira E. Preston, on 15 Oct 1897. (Amanda Straw was born in 1867 in New York, died on 8 May 1910 and was buried in Malbone Cemetery in Wilmington, Essex County, NY.)

Leonia next married Jennie Miller after 1910. (Jennie Miller was born in 1855 in Wilmington, Essex, NY.)
