History of Monmouth and Wales, Volume 1 By Harry Hayman Cochrane - Ebenezer moved from Epping to Monmouth, ME in 1799 on the 14th day of Feb [his private journal] and purchased the Gen Henry Dearborn place...worked at the cobbler's bench, ran a cider mill, butchered, doctored and wove cloth for the local market. He also had a large apple orchard.
