JoAnn D. Martsfield July 11, 1942 - February 18, 2010 SALEM - JoAnn was born in Kalispell, Montana in 1942. Attended Flathead High School graduating in 1960. She lived in Oahu, Hawaii before moving to Salem, Oregon. She retired December 2009 from the State of Oregon DHS, Child Welfare. Previously she had worked for the City of Salem. She belonged to the Keizer Elks Lodge Ladies of Elks Group. She also was very involved with her husband in national and local Elk activities. She loved life, her family, friends and especially her six grandchildren. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Martsfield; son and daughter in-law, Steve and Karlene of Everett Washington; daughter, Jennifer of Keizer; 6 grandchildren, Todd, Cole, Sydney, Steven, Samantha, Sophie and one on the way; sister, Bonnie Goltz of Salem, Oregon; and brother, Billy Devitt of Yucca, Arizona. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Keizer, Oregon. Reception to follow at the church hall. Private Inurnment at Mt. Crest Abby Mausoleum, Salem, Oregon. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp to Belong, c/o OFPA, 707 SE 13th, Ste. 275, Salem, OR 97301.
