New York..Jan 10 Charles A. Straw a director and VP of Standard Oil Development Co, a subsidiary of Standard Oil Co of NJ died last night after an illness of more than a year.He was born in Roxbury, MA 52 years ago, was graduated from Harvard Univ in 1901 and returned to serve there as an assistant instructor in chemistry, He also did similar work at MIT..he had been with Standard Oil of NJ for almost 11 years.
He leaves his wife the former Emma Tuck of Newport NH. burial will be in Newport, VT.
