Abiah Straw, who became his wife, was born in the town of Weare, N. H., Aug. 8, 1786. Her father`s Christian name was Israel and her mother`s maiden name was Abiah Nelson. Some of the relatives live in that vicinity now, of whom I know little. She was a Universalist and one of the best of women. Died Sept. 28, 1846, aged 58 years and was buried at Udina. She was the mother of ten children.
