HENNIKER, NH: Mary Ann (Straw) Douglas, 93, of Henniker, NH died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Ann was born in West Hopkinton, NH on September 25, 1926, to the late Clayton B. and Agnes Mae (Robbins) Straw. She was also predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Douglas who died in 1967, a daughter Barbara, and two sisters, Arlene and Margaret.
Mary Ann was a hairdresser, and the owner and operator of her own beauty shop in Henniker, NH. She also worked for the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home for many years doing hairdressing for many families.
She is survived by one son, Robert Douglas, Jr., her sister, Phyllis, and her five grandchildren, Sarah, Trinity, Justin, Nathan, and Christopher. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Renea.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Henniker New Cemetery, Henniker, NH
