Thomas William "T.W." Smith III
ORIENTAL, N.C. - Thomas William "T.W." Smith III, 26, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, after a lengthy illness.
He was a member of Oriental First Baptist Church and loved videos and music as hobbies.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas W. Smith Jr.
His is survived by his mother, Joanne Straw Smith, formerly of Portsmouth, N.H.; half-sister Katelyn Grace Smith-Malone; paternal grandparents, Thomas W. Sr. and Anne Smith of Oriental; maternal grandmother, Joyce Straw of Dover, N.H.; aunt and uncle, Norma and Hubert Smith and their son, Jimmy of Oriental; special family friend Danny Malone; aunts, uncles and families all formerly of New Hampshire and Maine, Chucky Straw, Michael Straw, Larry Straw, Mimi Roberts and Marylyn Flores.
SMITH - Thomas William "T.W." Smith III, 26, of Oriental, N.C, died Dec. 8, 2002. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Oriental Cemetery with Rev. Murray Ethridge officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence, 205 Neuse Street, Oriental. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oriental First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 313, Oriental, NC 28571.
