Cloyde's Father, Cloyde Alvin Priestley, Sr died at age 88 on 3/20/1979 [born 12 Sep 1890]; was brown/blue, registered for the draft and was living in 3-WD Billings, Yellowstone, MT in 1910. Bridger & Billings, MT are only about 50 miles apart, so it's entirely feasible that these two met & married.

Cloyde Priestley, 80, was a longtime resident of Billings as a Master plumber. He died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1998, at Valley Health Care Center. He was born Nov. 7, 1917, in Bridger to Cloyde A. and Verga L. Neafus Priestley. He married Margaret R. Straw in Billings.
Cloyde contracted Polio in his early '20s and was disabled for most of his life. He was highly creative and enjoyed woodworking, carving and leatherwork. An avid fisherman, he loved boating on Canyon Ferry and Hebgen Lake. He loved the outdoors and camping. In recent years, he was confined to his home and enjoyed computer programs, e-mail, and playing cards. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. As a Master plumber, he worked for Drier Plumbing and Heating, Swainson Plumbing and Boise Cascade.
He is survived by his sister, Alice Drier and his three children, Douglas of Springfield, Vt., Vicky Priestley of Spokane, Wash., and Linda L. Robinson of Billings.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made in his name to: The Shrine Hospital or the Billings Education Scholarship Fund.
