PAULDING \emdash Charles Straw, 86, of 402 N. Williams, died Friday morning at his residence. He had been ill several months. Born Nov. 17, 1876, he was the son of William and Martha
(Craig) Straw.
He was the former Paulding County surveyor, and a former road contractor. He retired 14
years ago. Prior to that time he was the president of the NationalBank of Paulding. He remained
a director of the bank. He also was a member of Widows's Son Lodge F and A.M. and
of the P a u l d i n g MethodistChurch.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs., Helen Sness of Paulding; and Mrs. Dorothy Mills of Springfield; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Crowell - Ben Herder Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Charles Witman officiating. Burial will be in the Live Oak Cemetery.
