Almira's daughter, Phoebe Doughty, married Elijah Vancil and I believe her last born child before dying was Mary Alice Vancil - my great grandmother. Mary Alice was raised by Josephus Vancil and his wife. He was the father of Elijah Vancil and Mary Alice's grandfather. (Aug 2008 e-mail of Maxine Varnum Williamson)
