   Another name for Martha was Mattie Jane Bennett.

This couple resided in Horicon, NY. Per Mary Moore O'Connor this couple lived in Haysburg, a section of Town of Horicon. They had a farm and delivered milk around Brant Lake to summer guests and also to the Pebloe Hotel where Mary worked as waitress in the summers. She remembers they drove an old station wagon.
Other sources: research of Beverly Baumann who states Martha Jane " shot herself in the head on John's birthday - probably c 1940s. She was placed under supervisory care in Evergreen Nsg Home in Warrensburg and remained until she died.

Martha married John Arthur Pratt, son of John Horace Pratt and Susan L. Wright, on 11 Nov 1903. (John Arthur Pratt was born on 1 Jul 1882 in Horicon, Warren County, New York, died on 28 May 1961 in Hosp In Ticonderoga, NY and was buried in Brant Lake Cemetery in Horicon, New York.)
