Find a Grave Memorial 6356048 Services for Thelma Johnson, 89, of Gainesville, Texas, will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville, with Rev. Ken Cole of the First Christian Church officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born May 14, 1907, in Love County, Indian Territory, and died April 22, 1997, in the Gainesville Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of C.A. and Zettie Moore Sadler. A homemaker, Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star Gainesville Chapter, #1123. She and Benjamin F. Johnson were married September 17, 1930, in Durant, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1997. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Straw of Richardson, Texas; two grandchildren and two nephews. Interment will be in the New Rest Haven Memorial Park, Gainesville, under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
