The will of Mrs. David Harpster late of Harpster, was opened and read In the probate court ot Wyandot county, Tuesday morning. The documeo: disposes of an estate that will amount to probably 1150,000. One of the largest bequests made to Pauline Morgan thaler and Lena Morgan thaler, who are given all the household goods of every description in and about the Harpster home-. To the same persons, their heirs and assigns, are made the following bequests- "I also give to them and t< their heirs and assigns forever six am three-fourth acres of land, more 01 less, being the same premises devisee to me by my late husband. David Harpster. by item + of the second codicil of his will,-said codicil being dated the 26th day of March. 1896. I also five to the said Pauline Morgan thaler the sum of 110,000, and to the said Lena Morgan thaler the sum of $10,- 000" Other items of the will read as follows: Item 3. I give and bequeath to my sister, Sarah M. Beatb, the sum of $10,- 000. Item 4. I give to each of the followng persons the sum of $5.000, namely: Sarah A. Sears, Ivy Harpster Bones Ivy Sears Fowler, Francis Sears Lewis and Laura J Sears. Item 5 r also give to my brother George Maxwilt, $5,000, and to each ol my sisters, Mrs, Mary Manor, Mrs. liza Lamb and Ann Maxwell, the sum of $5,000 Item 6 1 give to my friend, Edith Straw Carev, the sum of $1,000, Item 7 f give to my friend. Jane M. jewls, the sum of $1.000. Item 8 1 Rive to John T. Lewis the :um of $1,000 Item 9 1 Rive and bequeath to my riend. Mrs M E T Wlant, the sum if $500 Item 10 I give and bequeath to William Ritterauer the sum of $500. Item 11. I Rive and bequeath (o Horace H. Sears the sum of $5,000. to be eld in trust by his father, Cyrus Sears, aeid trust fund to be Invested by taid trustee for the une of said Hormc Stars during his natural life, nd at liis death to KO to his heirs, and ie to them distributed. Item 12 I give and bequeath to the lenison university at Oranville, Ohio, he sum of $5,000. To the ivins children of her brothers and slscrs. except those mentioned alx>ve, Ar^ Harpster bequeaths $1,000 each. The will is dated March 17. 1899. A odictl is attached, which is dated April 6. 1899, the day upon which Mrs. farpner died. Item 5 of the codicil pads' "This codicil is intended to hange only the share of my niece, tlrs. Hattie Mason, and my nephew, If red Maxwell, mentioned in item ourteen of my said will from owners n fee to life estates to leave in trust share that my nephew, William R. may receive under my aald will, and to more definitely define the ime for which the trust fund men- ;oned In item thirteen of my last will hall be named for the benefit of the Bptfflt church of Harpster." John L. Lewis is named as executor f the will, and it is directed that he hall not be required to give- bond to \\ceed $20,000.
