  General Notes:

Possibly 5 Groezinger children, then Mrs Groezinger married Winters, gave her 5 children Winters name. Eventually 10 children with Winters name. (per Hannah - Mrs Arthur Winters - daughter-in-law of John George Winters 1840)
Came covered wagon when John George Winters (1840) was 4 years old. His dad died enroute from PA to KS. Family member found "Groezinger" lettering in (a) cloth. Possibly Uncle Ernest Cupe Winters may have framed it. Could have been her maiden name. (per Wanda Kathleen Nanninga 2003)
John Winters lost his wife and married John George Winters' (1840) mother . No one knows her first husband's name (possibly John M Groezinger).
