  General Notes:

Kate was the first wife of William Henry.She and William Henry separated and she went west, married Hyrum Smith Russell 1908 and George Anderson Terry in 1918. Kate died in ID and is buried there. Also research of Donald Richard Baker a direct descendent.
Per letter written by Dorothy Baker Turner (granddaughter) "Kate Belle Beswick married a man from Tooele (?) Utah named Hyrum Smith Russell - another very active Mormon family - although he turned out to be a failure and she divorced him in about 1916 - after three more children (Elmer, Harold, Alta): Hyrum was a sheep man and gone a lot. In 1917 (she) married George Anderson Terry - they were married in LDS temple in 1920 - they were very active in church work - Kate Belle all her life worked hard to support her children - I don't know if you knew Wm Henry Bennett was an alcoholic and Grandma worked hard in New York, too, to keep things going - she had a hard life. She had a fatal heart attack Feb 6th 1929. Ironically, after Grandma's death, her husband, George Terry all but quit church - he started drinking and was a mess - and her children by Russell took the Terry name - why I'll never know...."

MRS. GEORGE A TERRY VICTIM HEART ATTACK
Kate Beswick Terry, wife of George A. Terry, died suddenly at the family home, 727 North Garfield avenue,about 7 o'clock this morning. She was born in New York state February 3, 1875 and came to Idaho 12 (21 years per Aunt Alta) years ago. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Richard Bennett, Elmer R. and Harold B. Terry of Pocatello; three daughters Mrs. Eva Baker of Provo, and Alta and Lula Beswick of Pocatello; one brother, Ernest Beswick, Provo; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nellie Beswick of Glens Falls, New York, and 12 grandchildren.
The body is at the Hall mortuary pending funeral arrangements.

TERRY FUNERAL FRIDAY
The funeral of Kate Terry will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the L.D.S. Thrid ward church with BishopE.P. Horsfall officiating. Interment will be in Mountainview under direction of Hall mortuary.

(William Henry Bennett was born on 27 Dec 1871 in Horicon, Warren County, New York, died on 19 Feb 1924 in Hague, Warren County, New York and was buried in Brant Lake Cemetery in Horicon, New York.). The cause of his death was Tuberculosis.
