Amos Gordon

Amos and Nancy left Hopkinton, NH 1805 with "several sons and 4 daughters"; also with them was John Chandler. wife and several children (James J. was 7 yrs old) and Moses Gordon with wife Sarah Silver and also a 14 mos old daughter and Mrs. Gordon's brother Sampson Silver and also Jeremiah Flanders (may have been the husband of Jacob's daughter Betty). They left early in Feb and it took 21 days to go 200 miles (Garland, ME) with horse teams and sleds.
