William married Elizabeth Harriet Margaret Hagan, daughter of Matthew Hagan and Rose. (Elizabeth Harriet Margaret Hagan was born on 8 Feb 1880 in Sharon Springs, Schoharie County, New York, died on 1 Sep 1949 and was buried in Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, New York.). The cause of her death was lobar pneumonia with bronchiectasis.
