McCARLEY CEMETERY -- Located in Section 13 of Raccoon Township west of the New Hope Baptist C hurch on State Route 554 adjacent to the New Hope Cemetery. It is fenced and was well mowed . Sandstone posts were placed at the end of each corner of the rectangular shaped plot.

WARNER, Arthur Wellesley - Born Washington Co., Ohio August 27, 1813, son of Anaximander, an d Lucretia (Porter) Warner. The father died May 31, 1843 and the mother died 1859. Arthur W . married here March 1, 1837 to Mary J. McCarley, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Boggs) Mc Carley both of whom were born in this county. Samuel died March 11, 1841. Samuel and Charle s Topping laid out the town of Harrisburg which was surveyed by Joseph Fletcher. Arthur and M ary had: Virginia born 1841 and died young; Frances E (Kerr) born 1842, Emma L. (Howe) born 1 845, Florence J. (Cerr)? born 1848, Cyrus D. born 1851, and Mary B. (Weed) born 1856. Mary, t he wife of Arthur died July 7, 1878. Cyrus D. Warner (above) born Jun 8, 1851 married Malinda
A. Frederick born here in 1847, daughter of Henry and Hannah (Ewing) Frederick. 4 children.

Ancestral File v4.19 says he died in Harrisburg,Franklin,OH.
(There are more than one Harrisburg in Ohio!!! I believe he
died in Harrisburg,Gallia,OH.
