William married Hannah Porter, daughter of Lt Samuel Porter and Martha Perley, circa 1800. (Hannah Porter was born in 1782 in Chester, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, died on 16 Aug 1867 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts and was buried in Dodge's Row Cemetery, Dodge St., Beverly, Essex County, MA.)
