Mary Pauline Hepner (nee Frederick) Mary Pauline Hepner, (nee Frederick), 82, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 after a brief illness. Mary was born August 5, 1926 in Winfield, IL and raised in Warrenville, IL. She was the only daughter of James and Emma (Cerveny) Frederick. Mary was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Aurora. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her bingo nights with friends. Her first love was children who would flock to her for stories, songs and homemade cakes. Survivors include her husband, Earl; brother, George (Corky) Frederick of Warrenville; daughter, Ro-Jean (Michael) Straw of Eliot, ME; son, Gary Hepner of PA; son, Donald (Judy) Hepner of Aurora; grandchildren, Christopher (Kibbie) Straw of NH, Troy Alan (Cathy) Hepner, Aurora, Nicholas Straw of Kittery, ME and Timothy (Holly) Hepner of Oswego; and several great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Elmer, Wilbur and James; and her grandson Travis Justin Hepner. Mary's family would like to express their thanks to the doctors and staff of Provena Mercy Hospital of Aurora, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 2-5 PM at The Healy Chapel, 332 West Downer Place, Aurora. Her funeral service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1 PM at The Healy Chapel, Aurora. Father George Glover will officiate. Interment will be at Spring Lake Cemetery.
