GALVESTON - David Lee Roy McGhee, 55, of Galveston died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at John Sealy Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2006, at the Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston with the Rev. Ray Meador officiating. Born July 15, 1950, in Brownfield, Texas Mr. McGhee was a correctional officer for 17 years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Survivors include his wife Sandi McGhee, daughters; Cassandra Diane Martin, Pamela Nanette Brown; son Jeremy ?Scott? McGhee; sisters Lynda Straw, Brenda Robbins, Susan Robertson, Jana Crumpton, Melanie Melton; brothers Darryl McGhee, Glenn McGhee, Mark McGhee; granddaughters Ryan West, Allyssa Martin, Kylan McGhee, Catelyn Battenfield; grandsons Zachary Martin, Danien Brown, Dylan Brown, Triston Battenfield and Landon Taylor.
