Added by BarbaraDay44 on 5 Sep 2008 My mother had grown up in Park Rapids and knew "Aunt Mag" as she was called. Her daughters Elva and Margaret were well known by my mother. Margaret"Straw" married Alan Broadbent. Margaret was a wonderful person and enjoyed her company when I was a little girl staying at my grandmothers home a few weeks at a time. Alan Broadbent's sister was Pearl "Broadbent" Ricker. I have a picture I believe of Maggie Straw...mother of Elva "Mallard" Weeks, known as Mrs. Weeks to my mothers family.
