History of the Town of Henniker, NH
"....studied medicine [graduated Dartmouth 1818] and was in Warner, NH in 1819. In 1820 he came to this town and remained until his death. In 1819 he became a member of the Centre District Medical Society and by his associates was held in the highest esteem being considered one of the strong men in his profession....legislature representative of Henniker 1837-38...NH State senator 1841-42.
Found dead in his office 12 Sept 1856...cause of death: apoplexy [stroke]...never married...."
