"Catherine is the daughter of Joseph Packard and Catherine Murry.Katherine married Hugh Washburn,son of Nathan Washburn and Mary Mehuren of Bridgewater,Middlesex,MA.They married on 11 Dec 1772 in Easton and had five children in Easton:
Zephaniah Washburn-3 Aug 1775
Calvin Washburn-28 Aug 1780
Nathan Washburn-16 Oct 1783
Catherine Washburn-13 Sep 1788
Sally Washburn-Smith-28 May 1792
Catherine's husband Hugh is # 57754627. I have obtained more info on Hugh that I must pass on for his memorial.He had a guardian in charge of him when he died in Florida,he had been declared Mentally imcompetent in 1819.
I presume that Catherine is buried next to her husband,Hugh Washburn,Thomas Manley Cemetery in Easton,although I have found out that she is not listed in the Easton Cemetery index.Info comes via Chip 5610,with thanks.
The death dates are from info obtained from Barbara Tourtillott with Thanks. Comes from the "Final Payment Vouchers",this states the death daths of both Hugh Washburn-9 Jan 1828 and Catherine Washburn-28 Jun 1839.In the pension records from Hugh ,himself dated April 1,1818 where he states that he first enlisted in the fall of 1775 for six months in Capt.F.---company at Easton and Col.P.D. Sergeants regiment in the Mass. line,serving in Cambridge.He enlisted again at Easton in the beginning of 1776 into Capt. Sam'l Cole's company and served at Winter Hill at Charlestown for three months.Enlisting again in 1778 for nine months in Capt. James Cooper's company & Col. Bradfords Reg't and went to WWest Point and the White Plains and served out his nine months."
