DIGHTON - Donna J. Hage-Barton, 53, died Dec. 11, 2007, at Lane County Hospital, Dighton.
She was born Oct. 9, 1954, Myrtle Creek, Ore., the daughter of Don Gordon and Juanita Sophia Straw McCollister. She graduated from Otero Junior College in LaJunta, Colo., receiving the Mayor's Award and the Presidential Award for maintaining a 4.0 grade average. She worked as a clerk/cashier for Dairy Queen and Wendy's in Colorado Springs; she also worked for 11/2 years at K&J Foods after moving to Dighton in 2005.
In 1972, she married Gary Hage in Vancouver, Wash. He died in 1988. On April 6, 2001, she married Robert E. Barton at Sugar City, Colo. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, James and Chad Hage, both of Dighton; three daughters, Anita Hage, Dighton, Rebecca Rivera, Dighton, and Cynthia Hage, Colorado Springs; a brother, Richard McCollister, Colorado Springs; a sister, Diana Sharria, Reedsport, Ore.; three stepdaughters, Lori Ann Coen, Lamar, Colo., Renee Elisha Barton, Eads, Colo., and Amy Teresa Barton, Eads, Colo.; a stepson, John Robert Barton, Lakin; five grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Dighton, with Pastor Danny Parker presiding.
