Owen Okel, 74, passed away October 3, 2016. Born in Long Beach, CA, he was the son of the late Stanley and Regene Owen Geir.
Mr. Okel enlisted in the US Navy in 1960 where he served two tours in Aviation Maintenance. Following the Navy, he attended Cal Poly where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration where he pursued a career as a CPA. He worked for San Luis Obispo County Government and the State of Oregon before starting his company in 1985.
Mr. Okel is survived by his wife, Carol LaVanway Okel, sons, Dennis Okel, Richard and Frank Barr, daughters, Trista and Whitney Okel, and Robbin Barr, brothers, Jim and Jerry Okel, grandchildren, Shayla Baker, Halaina Okel, Krystal and Molly Barr.
At the request of Mr. Okel, there will be no funeral services.
