Peter Winter

" I have information, via my father, about Henry Winter who married Polly Burkholder.
Henry's father was Peter Winter born August 1, 1803 in Canada, who was
married to Catherine Cork born January 24, 1812 in New York state.
Their daughter was Lucretia Marand Winter, who married Chauncey
Philander Wilson. She is my great, great, great grandmother. Her
brother was Henry H. Winter who you mention born September 24, 1840.
Peter Winter is buried in the Whig Church Cemetery near Platteville,
Grant County, Wisconsin
My information is that Peter's parents were Nicholas Winter, and ?
Nicholas Winter was a soldier of the revolution. I will attach his 1832
pension application, and a bit I am working on writing about him (not
yet fully edited)

Peter married Catherine Cork. (Catherine Cork was born on 24 Jan 1812 in New York.)
