Mrs. Donald Straw
HARTFORD \emdash Mrs. Donald (Mildred M.) Straw, 53, of Watervliet, died Friday in Borgess hospital,Kalamazoo.
She was born Aug. 29,1918, in Whitwell, Tenn., the daughter of Bert and Myrtle Morrison:
Surviving are her husband Donald, whom she married on Sept. 22, 1936, in South Bend;
two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Donna) Flagel of Lawrence and Mrs. Harrie (Myrna) Liles
of Berrien Springs; five grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Morrison of Keeler; two sisters, Mrs.Edward (Nell) Rollins of Keeler and Mrs. James (Hazel) Dale of Hartford and two brothers, James of Bangor and Edward of Keeler.
Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.
Mildred married Donald Richard Straw, son of Luther Straw and Flossie Mae Meldrum, on 16 Feb 1942 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. (Donald Richard Straw was born on 12 Oct 1916 in Rockford, Michigan, died on 24 Feb 2008 in Heartland Health Care Center, Three Rivers. Michigan and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery Hartford, Van Buren County, Michigan, USA.)
