  General Notes:

The census indicates three Frymute heads of family from 1850 - 1900 in Ohio
Benjamin Frymute born 1817 or 1830 Germany/Switzerland settled in Muskingum county, OH
Clement Frymute born 1822 Switzerland settled in Licking county, OH
Joseph Frymute born c1798 Switzerland settled in Perry county, OH.
These three counties are all proximal and border on each other. These men are almost probably related - perhaps brothers? It would appear they all arrived about the same time period - 1850 - 1860 from Switzerland

Researching the surnames Suiter, Frymute, Sease (and variant spellings)who were in Perry Co., OH in the early to mid 1800's. Sease from MD>OH>IA, Suiter and Frymute from Switzerland. Joshua Sease was a United Brethren clergyman in Harrison and Reading townships from about 1840-1870, then moved to IA. Anthony Suiter was a tailor, and was in New Lexington, and perhaps also Reading Twp. He married first Hester Catharine Smith, then Magdalen Frymute, also migrating to IA sometime after 1860. Magdalen was a daughter of Joseph Frymute. Joseph also had a son, Joseph, who was a saddler in Somerset in 1870. [ josmith @isp.com]
