Straw

  General Notes:

He is a probable descendant of the James Straw/ Caroline Tracy line who settled in and around Orange County, VT. One possibility is their daughter Lucia who had an illigetimate son George Straw born 15 Sept 1880 in Ely, Orange county, VT. According to his birth record his biological father was H. Darby and when Lucy later married to Louis Currier in 1884, her son George took the surname of Currier. There is no documentation to prove this and it is only a theory for consideration.

Straw married Abbie Jane Main, daughter of John H. Main and Jane Belville, between 1900 and 1903. The marriage ended in divorce. (Abbie Jane Main was born on 4 Jul 1882 in Bradford, Orange County, Vermont and died after 1910.)
