Snell, and Mrs. Grace Coffin, Mrs. Mary Stone and Mrs. Alice McCrea, daughters. By law, one-third of the $1,050,000 goes to the widow and the remainder falls equally to the four children share and share alike.[The estate worth about 4 million]

Chicago - Albert J. Snell son of the millionaire Amos J. Snell whose murder here in 1888 created a widespread sensation, was found dead in bed in a rooming house here today. He was 50 years of age.He inherited a fortune from his father. For a considerable time he had made a hand to mouth living running erands on the docks.
