1900 -her two children with the surname of SMITH live with her parents [their grandparents] in Greenville, FL but I can't locate Josephine who may well be out of country with husband.

11 Dec 1910 Mrs Andrew Low Green of Jacksonville, FL has taken an apartment @ the Belvedere [hotel] for the winter. daughter Jamie [Green -this daughter apparently was either legally adopted by her stepfather[Andrew Low Green] or the mother changed her daughter's surname, legally or otherwise, from Smith to Green and Jamie appears to have kept this surname ever after] who is the ward of Mrs George Quintard Horwitz of Philadelphia will make her debut at the Monday German. [a coming out cotillion- thus named as follows: A "German cotillion", in contemporary accounts, was reintroduced to New York society at a costume ball with a Louis XV theme given by Mr William Colford Schermerhorn in the early winter of 1854.]
