Obituary: Colonie-Stacia T. Malinowski, 87, died at home Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Suzanne Sutowski Kosakowski. She was an operator for the NY Telephone Co for several years. In 2002 she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph G. Malinowski Sr.She was the mother of Joseph G. Malinowski, Jr (Ellen); grandmother of Joseph G. Malinowski III and Sarah Marie Malinowski; sister of Elizabeth Kirby, Frances Fagan, Edward Kosakowski and the late Leo, Frank, John, Joseph, Casimir and Helen Kosakowski and Jane Lawrence; several nieces and nephew survive.Funeral services Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11:30 am in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 12:00 pm where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to Blessed Sacrament Church.
