ALBANY -- Katherine Ann Johnson Kosakowski, age 81, died Wednesday, November 19, 1997. Born in Albany, she was a life-long resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Louise Corning Senior Citizens. She was the wife of the late Francis X. Kosakowski. Mother of Raymond and Louise Kosakowski of Albany, Patricia and Anthony Trotta of Delmar, and Dr. Roxanne and Mark Lowenguth of Rochester, NY; sister of Walter Johnson, Davia Russo and Margaret Johnson, all of Albany, and the late Lester and Kenneth Johnson. Also survived by three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights, Albany, Friday morning at 8:30 and 9 o'clock at the Church of St. Casimir. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon, 3 to 6 p.m. Interment, Memory's Garden, Colonie, NY. Katherine married Francis Xavier Kosakowski, son of Jan Theodore Kosakowski and Suzanna Barbara Sutowska. (Francis Xavier Kosakowski was born on 16 Jan 1911 in Tarreytown, New York and died on 28 May 1989 in Albany, Albany County, New York.)
