Kevin P. ALBANY Kevin P. Kirby, 61, died suddenly Sunday, October 10, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany he was the beloved son of Elizabeth A. (Kosakowski) Kirby of Delmar and the late James J. Kirby. Kevin was a graduate of the former Vincentian Institute and Empire State College. He worked as an administrator for Albany County for many years, retiring in 2004. Father of Carolyn A. Kirby, Meredith L. Kirby, Melissa J. Kirby and James J. Kirby II; grandfather of Adam Kirby; brother of Michael S. Kirby, Susan B. (Robert) McDermott, Kathleen Kirby, Gregory J. (Donna) Kirby and the late Nancy Kirby. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave., Guilderland. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
